Last weekend we were at the St. Petersburg Boat Show in Florida. We had a booth set up and got to tell what seemed like 30,000 to 40,000 boaters about our product. I’m not sure on the exact numbers, but this was easily the largest boat show that I’ve ever been to. It was not all work and no play, however. Thankfully there were three of us at the show, which allowed one of us to explore the show while the others were manning the booth. Since I was the youngest of the group, I naturally spent most of my time slaving away in the booth. (Or at least I’d like to think of it that way!) When I did get some free time, I really enjoyed looking at all of the boats on display.
There were some huge power boats but I really enjoyed the sailboats. There were a couple of very unique catamarans that I liked and I am always impressed by a Beneteau. As far as the power boats go, there were some new Sea Rays that were really neat. There were even some power catamarans. Overall, I was really impressed by the St. Petersburg boat show. I wasn’t sure what to expect before I got there, but it exceeded every expectation I had. If you’re in the area next year, I highly recommend stopping by the show. And don’t forget to stop by our booth too. We’d be happy to talk to you and let you have your pick of fine chocolate!
