Over the last few weeks, a lot has happened. We’ve been to two boat shows in Tampa and Newport, moved into our new office space, and made our first sale (along with many others). The boat shows were a huge success. We not only made a lot of sales but also talked to many other people in the boating industry. The ideas and suggestions from other exhibitors at the show were not expected, but we’ll take free consulting anytime. Tampa was my first experience with a boat show. It was much larger than I expected, and Newport was even bigger. It’s absolutely amazing how the workers can transport so many boats into such a small space without crashing.
We finally have offices! Since our inception, we’ve been operating out of garages, living rooms, and offices at home. However, we’ve spent a couple of days converting a building to the new Boat Command Headquarters. Headquarters currently consists of many offices, a conference room, a shipping area, a device testing area, and a huge storage area. I’m sure we’ll be adding more rooms in the near future. It’s nice to have space!
