Boat Command VMS Privacy Policy Effective May 21, 2021

The Boat Command VMS System (“the System”) collects data (“the Data”). 

The Data may include status or information about performance, location, operation and recommended service. 

The System collects the Data on a time scheduled basis and is necessary to the operation and functionality of the System. 

By signing up for our Boat Command VMS Service you “Agree,” and are subject to applicable law, you hereby agree that Boat Command VMS  may use the Data for the services provided by the System (“the Services”) or notify you of Boat Command VMS information or services (including sending phone, computer or other messages to you relating to your Boat Command VMS ), to manage the services provided by the system, or to protect the property or safety of you or another party, or to comply with any law or court order (including subpoenas). 

Boat Command VMS shares browsing data with Google Analytics to help optimize the mobile, tablet, and desktop viewing experience. 

Boat Command VMS will not otherwise disclose, sell or rent the Data to any other third party without your consent. 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, you further agree that Boat Command VMS may provide aggregated information derived from the Data, excluding GPS or Location Data, to third parties without your consent, provided that said aggregated information is made anonymous and shall not contain any personally identifiable information. 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Boat Command will provide portions of the Data to governing agencies and approved data processing entities as required by the user. 

Boat Command VMS's privacy policy is assumed to be in agreement with the Boat Command VMS Terms of Service.

Boat Command VMS will maintain the confidentiality of personally identifying information and other protected data in accordance with federal law.

When calling or messaging us via text message, we may retain your phone number to send you additional information regarding your inquiry.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
